Academic Writing Sample
To demonstrate my writing abilities, I've selected my Statement of Problem from Dr. Steven Koehn's Communication Research Methods course. This paper explores the effects that long distances can have on romantic relationships and was written in the spring of 2022.
Sports Communication Audio Artifact
This piece of audio includes a snippet of a one-on-one interview with a student athlete for Rich Nye's Sports Media Production course in the fall of 2023. It also includes radio sportscasts I've produced and aired during my tenure at UIndy.
Sports Communication Visual Artifact
This video reel includes multiple pre-game stand-ups that aired on UIndy TV as well as the GLVC Sports Network throughout my tenure at UIndy.
Sports Communication Game Notes Artifact
This artifact, though not required for this portfolio, is an assignment I'm extremely proud of. I think it excellently displays my design and writing skills. These are game notes I created as an assignment for Rich Nye's Sports Media Production class this fall, and they cover UIndy Football's matchup against William Jewell University.
